Sun2Create's Fun Pillows

I couldn't help but click right into Mary's shop, Sun2Create, this morning. Mary creates pillows and bags with such fun and colorful fabrics. Shabby Chic ?

Shabby Chic! What is it?

According to Wikipedia:
"The style started in Great Britain and evokes the type of decoration found in large country houses where there are worn and faded old sofas and curtains, old paintwork and unassuming 'good' taste. The end result of shabby chic is to achieve an elegant overall effect, as opposed to the sentimentally cute Pop-Victorian"

Floradorainc has a lovely variety in pillow styles. From French Country to Jungle to Shabby Chic. I fell in love with this lovely pillow that incorporates that Shabby Chic chintz look!

Piecesintime has some lovely pieces of mosaic. I love this Shabby Chic lightswitch cover. Notice the lovely use of chintz china in the design.

Elegant AND affordable wall art

I can't say enough about my satisfaction with DaliDecals. They are a member of Design Style Guide under BadassDecals but it's the same company. They are a JOY to work with. I used the flowers for my very narrow staircase and used another paisley design for above my guest bedroom bed. I'm always leery of hanging things above a headboard, for fear it may fall on a guest!
