The Quilt As A Focal Point

A beautiful bed quilt provides a foolproof focal point in any bedroom, and is a great starting point for your decorating theme. The first quilt below is all about color and shape, and can easily be the highlight in any style room, from shabby chic to modern, depending on the accessories chosen.

Click on any photo or link to access the artist's shop.

From Jennifer Miller
From Laurels By Laurie
From Pieces In Time
From Shirley Jean
From Diana's Stained Glass

The second quilt (below) is dominated by the rose and leaf applique, and the beautiful hand quilting. It has the look of a vintage quilt, and is best accessorised with items that echo it's old- fashioned, floral theme. Some examples are shown below the quilt.

The Design Style Guide Team offers items in every color and style, and is easily searchable on Etsy. Just type "interiordesignteam" in the search box, followed by "quilt." You can further refine the search by adding a color and/or style. Once you've found the quilt of your dreams, you can run a similar search for coordinating accessories.
